Army medical camp benefits 150+ in Karnah

Kupwara, March 30,2026- Demonstrating its commitment to humanitarian service, the Indian Army organised a medical and dental camp at Gabra in Karnah, providing essential healthcare services to residents in this remote border area.

The camp witnessed the participation of over 150 local residents, who received free medical check-ups, dental consultations, and necessary treatment. The initiative aimed to address the lack of accessible healthcare facilities in far-flung regions and ensure timely medical support to the local population.

Army doctors and medical staff conducted thorough examinations, distributed medicines, and offered guidance on preventive healthcare practices. Special focus was given to elderly patients, women, and children, who often face challenges in accessing regular medical services.

Officials stated that such outreach programs are part of the Indian Army’s continued efforts to support civilian populations living in remote and border areas. Beyond providing healthcare, these initiatives play a crucial role in strengthening trust and fostering positive relations between the armed forces and local communities.

Residents expressed gratitude for the camp, highlighting that such efforts bring much-needed relief and medical assistance closer to their doorstep.

The medical and dental camp at Gabra stands as a testament to the Army’s role not only in safeguarding the nation but also in extending compassionate service to the people.
