Massive Plantation Drive in Banglapathri | Schoolchildren Involved for a Greener Tomorrow Trees, plants and forests are like a protective shield for humans. And we should not leave them throughout our life. In a concerted effort to promote environmental sustainability and community involvement, a successful plantation drive was carried out at Banglapathri. In an area of 20 hectares we are planting 30,000 trees. We are involving nearby school children girls and boys to participate in this drive so that they are also aware about the importance of environment in their day-to-day life. The plantation aims to enhance the green cover of the region. And to make the children realise their responsibility as a citizen. The area had seen degradation. We are trying to populate a new forest. We intend to complete this plantation drive by March 2024.
