J&K | PMEGP scheme helps Tral youth to set up units I had heard about PMEGP scheme so I contacted the J&K Bank in Tral. I took a loan of Rs 10 lakh. I am benefitting a lot and work is going on fine. With the loan I got curtains and other material. With the scheme the beneficiary is able to give employment to a few others. He has got a deposit of Rs 2.50 lakh subsidy. Many units like this have been established said an official. I heard that government is giving subsidy and we only have to work hard to get benefits. We did not have enough money to buy materials. When we heard about the PMEGP scheme and we applied and we are benefitting a lot. We deposited the documents in Pulwama and the J&K Bank in Tral helped us establish this unit. We are three relatives who work and all of them are getting benefits. I want to tell others too to do something. This is a very good step by the government to end uneployment. I want to advise others if you want to do something then avail these government schemes.
