J&K Naval Unit NCC has been in Kashmir Valley since 1965. A Memorandum of Understanding was signed in the presence of the Lieutenant Governor of Jammu & Kashmir between JKRLM & MEESHO for the empowerment of 1800 SHG’s (Self Help Group) members in the UT. A One-Day Awareness Camp cum Training Workshop was organised by the government of Jammu & Kashmir on different scholarship schemes/NSP of the Tribal Affairs Department on November 12, 2022 in Pulwama.
