The Lieutenant Governor of Jammu & Kashmir, Shri Manoj Sinha congratulated everyone for the biggest celebration of young talent programme, Sonzal 2022. He said human beings are like rainbows. All the seven colours are present in them and their personality is multi-faceted and multi-dimensional. There are seven chakras in human beings which improve one’s personality. To nurture their personality, it is necessary that along with classroom studies’ syllabus they are given a free sky to unleash their hidden talent. The time has come, said the LG, that the boundary walls of the university and windows are thrown open so that the air within goes out of the university and outside air comes inside the university. Instead of the option ‘either this or that’ students need to be given individual options so that not just knowledge but they are able to experience wisdom too. The Lt Governor is happy that according to the National Education Policy, the University of Kashmir has made the necessary changes in innovation, teaching, learning process, scientific, humanities research and value based education. Not only in Jammu & Kashmir but in the whole nation, Kashmir University is being discussed.
