A Memorandum of Understanding was signed in the presence of the Lieutenant Governor of Jammu & Kashmir between JKRLM & MEESHO for the empowerment of 1800 SHG’s (Self Help Group) members in the UT. JKRLM has partnered with MEESHO to promote women entrepreneurs of Self Help Groups. The purpose is to enable better livelihoods with better market visibility. Around 1800 rural women are to be trained in e-commerce. The Lt Governor said, the partnership will also provide an opportunity to both JKRLM and MEESHO to scale up rural enterprises from grassroot to large scale and bring the change in rural women’s lives.
