Poonch, June 7,2026- Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha arrived at the Sports Stadium in Poonch on Sunday to participate in the concluding event of the ambitious ‘Nasha Mukt Jammu & Kashmir’ campaign, marking a significant milestone in the Union Territory’s fight against drug abuse and narco-terrorism.
The Lieutenant Governor was accompanied by senior civil, police, and administrative officials as thousands of people, including youth, students, community leaders, and citizens, gathered at the venue to reaffirm their commitment to building a drug-free Jammu and Kashmir.
The event served as the culmination of an extensive awareness campaign conducted across districts under the ongoing anti-drug initiative. The campaign witnessed widespread public participation through padyatras, awareness drives, community outreach programmes, educational activities, and youth engagement initiatives aimed at spreading the message against substance abuse.
