Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board to establish medical college in Reasi

The Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board has taken a transformative step towards elevating healthcare and education in the Reasi region of Jammu and Kashmir. Over the past eight years, the board has successfully operated the Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Narayana Super Specialty Hospital, which boasts around 300 beds and has become a key healthcare provider for the region. Building on this foundation, the board recently announced its ambitious plan to establish a medical college, aimed at offering advanced educational opportunities in the medical field to local youth. In a recent statement, Anshul Garg, CEO of the Shrine Board, underscored the importance of this initiative, which is expected to have a profound impact on both healthcare services and professional development within the region. For years, the board had envisioned establishing a medical college to expand educational opportunities and healthcare resources for the people of Reasi. This medical college is expected to provide young people in Reasi and nearby areas with valuable training and educational resources in healthcare. Anshul Garg, CEO emphasized that the Shrine Board’s goal is to transform the region into a center of excellence in both healthcare and education. “Our mission,” he stated, “is to give local youth access to world-class facilities right here at home.” The rapid progress in infrastructure development reflects the Shrine Board’s commitment to this
