Doodhpathri lies in a bowl-shaped valley in the Pir Panjal range of Jammu & Kashmir. The name Doodhpathri signifies ‘Valley of Milk’. A tourist recounted how he was not coming to Doodhpathri and then friends forced him to come. And this was the best decision he said he made in his life. For two years he had been visiting the mountains but he did not see snowfall. The scenes of Doodhpatri he has not seen in any film. The life experience at Doodhpathri is just beautiful. It is natural beauty at its best and the tranquillity soothes your soul.It is an alpine valley covered with snow capped mountains and meadows of Pine Fir and Deodar. The tourists male and female, were awestruck by nature’s beauty. There were 8-10 points to see as tourist attractions. They felt like residing in Kashmir. They found the people hospitable and down to earth.
