Srinagar, June 9,2026- Jammu & Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha today welcomed Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari on his arrival in Srinagar.
The visit comes at a significant time as the Union Minister is scheduled to participate in key infrastructure-related events, including those linked to the landmark Zojila Tunnel, a project expected to transform connectivity between Kashmir and Ladakh through all-weather access.
LG Manoj Sinha welcomed the Union Minister and discussed the progress of major road and highway projects being implemented across Jammu & Kashmir. The visit highlights the government’s continued focus on strengthening infrastructure, improving connectivity, and accelerating economic development in the region.
Several transformative projects undertaken by the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways are expected to enhance mobility, boost tourism, facilitate trade, and improve access to remote areas across Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh.
