Anantnag, July 26,2026- Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha visited the revered Mata Sidh Lakshmi Shrine at Teerathraj Lok Bhawan in Anantnag on the occasion of the sacred Harbah Festival, where he paid obeisance and offered prayers for peace, prosperity, and the well-being of the people.
Participating in the religious observance, the Lieutenant Governor highlighted the spiritual significance of the ancient shrine, describing it as a timeless centre of faith, devotion, selfless service, and communal harmony. He said the shrine has served as a beacon of spirituality for centuries, inspiring generations with its message of compassion, unity, and mutual respect.
In his message, LG Manoj Sinha said the sacred dham reminds society that true strength lies not in material achievements but in spiritual values, kindness, compassion, and service to humanity. He emphasised that such holy places play a vital role in preserving the rich cultural and spiritual heritage of Jammu and Kashmir while strengthening the bonds of brotherhood among communities.
The Lieutenant Governor also prayed for lasting peace, happiness, and progress in the Union Territory and reaffirmed the administration’s commitment to preserving and promoting the region’s rich religious and cultural traditions.
The Harbah Festival, celebrated with great religious fervour at the Mata Sidh Lakshmi Shrine, attracts devotees from across Jammu and Kashmir, reflecting the region’s centuries-old traditions of faith, inclusivity, and cultural harmony.
