A workshop for women entrepreneurs was organised in Pampore on 19th-20th June, 2023 in Jammu and Kashmir. It was a startup team for women. Angel investors were also present. The national workshop was held for two days. The workshop provided mentoring, guiding and pitching sessions along with question and answer sessions. All help was provided for financing, pitching and idea generating. It was the instruction of the Prime Minister Narendra Modi that training and guidance has to be provided to a large section of women which was reiterated by the Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha and the Chief Secretary, J&K. Through this workshop, women will be able to set up their ventures when they get good guidance and support. Women entrepreneurs participating in the programme underwent some kind of training to learn the technicalities. They also learnt how to upgrade themselves financially. How to enhance their business and to learn about the current market demand. These things were difficult to obtain which we got under one roof here. It is a very good opportunity for all the women out there. And I am glad that this has been offered to us.
