30-member pujaris from south performed puja for 5 days before the launch ceremony of Balaji temple

A group of 30 pujaris had arrived from Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka to perform the five-day puja for the launch of Lord Venkateswara Temple in Jammu. Popularly known as Tirupati Balaji temple, it opened for the devotees on June 8, 2023. Amid chanting of mantras, Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha and Union ministers Dr Jitendra Singh and G Kishen Reddy inaugurated the temple. They also attended the Maha Samprokshanam ceremony of the temple. The temple is spread across 62 acres of land and built at a cost of Rs 30 crore.
