Mohamad Razak, Poonch resident of Jammu & Kashmir says the bridge that existed earlier was destroyed in the floods of 2014. A new bridge has been constructed at LOC Degwar Sector Poonch. Our village is just adjacent to the LOC at Poonch. Mehmood Hussain, another resident says after the bridge collapse, our children could not go to school at Degwar. Even we could not go to the fields for farming. We used to face a lot of trouble. Now, the bridge has made our movement easy. Residents are thankful to the LG administration for taking the initiative to complete the reconstruction of the bridge. The nearby villagers are benefitting from the bridge too. People are also relieved that shelling has stopped. Now they can attempt to lead a normal life again.
