LG Manoj Sinha visits Udhampur accident injured at GMC, reviews treatment

Udhampur, April 27,2026- In a compassionate gesture, Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Monday visited Government Medical College (GMC) Udhampur to inquire about the health and well-being of those injured in the recent road accident in Ramnagar area of Udhampur district.

The Lieutenant Governor interacted with the injured patients undergoing treatment at the hospital and assured them of full support from the administration. He was accompanied by senior officials and was briefed by a team of doctors regarding the condition and progress of the patients.

During the visit, Manoj Sinha directed the hospital administration to provide the best possible medical care and ensure all necessary facilities for the speedy recovery of the injured. He emphasized that no negligence should occur in treatment and all critical cases must receive special attention.

The accident, which took place on April 20 in Ramnagar, Udhampur, left several people injured, prompting swift medical response and hospitalisation at GMC Udhampur. The Lieutenant Governor’s visit reflects the administration’s commitment towards public welfare and healthcare support during emergencies.

Officials at the hospital informed that the injured are being closely monitored and are responding well to treatment.
