J&K: Rajouri Women Learn Gojri Topi Craft, Open Doors to Self-Reliance 🧵 A 3-month gojri topi making training programme was organised under the supervision of AD Handloom & Handicrafts Department Rajouri. The initiative was by the District Administration Rajouri, Jammu & Kashmir.
This is the first time that a gojri topi making centre has been set up in Rajouri, said a female participant. We are very grateful to the government for helping us poor females to learn this craft so that they can set up their own employment avenue. This is a part of our old culture which has been revived now by the government. Many girls learnt this art. Another female in Rajouri said they were thankful to the government for organising this 3-moths workshop.
