Baramulla, December 16,2025-Deputy Commissioner of Baramulla, Minga sherpa, reviewed the preparedness for the ‘Prashasan Gaon Ki Ore’ campaign, part of Good Governance Week 2025, scheduled to commence from December 19 across the district.
During the review meeting, the DC emphasised the importance of timely grievance redressal and ensuring that all issues raised by villagers are addressed efficiently. He also stressed the holding of village-level camps during the week to facilitate direct interaction between government officials and citizens, bringing the administration closer to the people.
Officials briefed the DC about district-wise arrangements, logistical support, and mechanisms put in place for public outreach. The campaign aims to strengthen citizen-centric governance by promoting transparency, responsiveness, and accountability in local administration.
The DC directed all departments to ensure smooth execution of the campaign, maximize participation, and maintain proper documentation of grievances and their redressal. He highlighted that the initiative is an opportunity to reinforce public trust in governance and enhance administrative efficiency at the grassroots level.
