Srinagar, November 10,2025: Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha highlighted India’s remarkable progress in building a dynamic technology ecosystem despite facing global economic and technological challenges. Speaking at a recent event, the LG said that India’s innovation-driven policies, digital empowerment initiatives, and startup culture have transformed the country into one of the world’s fastest-growing technology hubs.
He said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of Digital India has revolutionized governance, entrepreneurship, and service delivery, ensuring inclusive growth even during turbulent global conditions. “India today stands as a global leader in digital transformation, with a thriving startup ecosystem and robust IT infrastructure,” the LG remarked.
LG Sinha emphasised that technological innovation is driving socio-economic progress not just in major metros but also in Tier-2 and Tier-3 cities, including Jammu and Kashmir, where new opportunities in IT, artificial intelligence, and digital services are empowering youth.
“Despite global uncertainties, India’s young innovators, researchers, and entrepreneurs have shown resilience and creativity. The country has created a sustainable and future-ready digital economy,” LG Sinha added.
He further noted that the Jammu and Kashmir administration is committed to promoting digital governance, expanding IT-enabled services, and creating a favourable ecosystem for startups in the region. The LG called upon educational institutions and private players to collaborate in building a technologically skilled workforce to meet the demands of Industry 4.0.
The event concluded with the LG reaffirming that India’s technological growth story is a testament to the country’s innovation, resilience, and inclusive development, inspiring the world to adopt a people-centric approach to technology.
