Budgam, October 28,2025 — An Orientation and Career Counselling Programme on the Civil Services Examination was today organised at Government Degree College Budgam, aiming to guide students aspiring for careers in the civil services.
Deputy Commissioner Budgam, Dr. Bilal Mohi-Ud-Din Bhat , graced the occasion as the chief guest and interacted with students, inspiring them to pursue excellence with focus, discipline, and self-motivation.
In his address, Dr. Bilal Bhat shared valuable insights on preparation strategies, time management, and consistency, urging the youth to channel their energy towards achieving success in competitive examinations like the UPSC and JKAS. He also emphasised the importance of building character and integrity alongside academic excellence.
The programme included interactive sessions with faculty members and experts who discussed the syllabus, exam pattern, and guidance resources for aspiring candidates. Students expressed enthusiasm and appreciation for the initiative, calling it a motivating platform to shape their career paths.
