DDC Baramulla chairs DLC meeting, approves 1454 applications under HADP

Baramulla, December 17: The District Development Commissioner Baramulla, Minga Sherpa, chaired a District Level Committee meeting today at the DC’s office to review the implementation of the Holistic Agriculture Development Programme .

During the meeting, 1454 applications under the HADP scheme were approved, marking a significant milestone in promoting sustainable agricultural practices and empowering the farming community in Baramulla.

A comprehensive review of the status of sanctioned projects under HADP, Yuva Vani figures, and registrations on the Daksh Portal was conducted. The officers also revisited previous decisions to ensure the effective implementation of the programme.

DDC emphasised the need for timely execution and called for enhanced coordination among departments to achieve the desired outcomes. The approval of 1454 applications is expected to strengthen the agricultural sector in the district by improving access to resources and supporting local farmers.

The DDC reiterated the administration’s commitment to improving the livelihoods of farmers and ensuring the success of HADP through collaborative efforts with all stakeholders.
