Youth a valuable asset with new energy that can boost Atma Nirbhar Bharat: LG

J&K LG Shri Manoj Sinha addressing bright young minds at the 8th convocation of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University in Katra, Jammu & Kashmir last month gave meaningful message to the youth.

He said that while Convocation ceremony is the end of formal education, but this day also marks the beginning of the birth of a new society. The ceremony is not just about giving students, degrees, medals and certificates. It is about bringing change in the whole nation society and the youth joining in with new energy in nation building. He said that our success as a nation can only be achieved by promoting a culture of ideas and innovation in classrooms with dedication, discipline and determination.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has also given a push for the development of education in every school, college and university. His mission is to awaken the youth consciousness to see and realise their ambition through studies and good rapport with teachers for building an ideal life. The LG stated that J&K is strengthening knowledge system of our economy to provide bright opportunities to talented young professionals. Unless the youth participate in nation building with full consciousness till then the progress of the legacy cannot be ensured, he said.

Encouraging the youth LG said, in the whole of J&K, the most predominant and valuable asset is the new energy and consciousness of the new generation. This is the current link that will give J&K and Atma Nirbhar Bharat- a new picture. He said that J&K is building world-class infrastructure and the UT is emerging as a performer in every sector on the national canvas.

He concluded with this thought that university campus anywhere in the world is the best place to sharpen social consciousness of young minds.
