Teacher from small town Baramulla wins Fulbright Fellowship in the US

Educator Rameez Ahmad Sudhan belonging to Baramulla, Jammu & Kashmir has emerged a winner among lakhs of applicants who applied to attain the Fulbright scholarship. Rameez has been granted a Fulbright Fellowship by the US Department of State for 2023. He says only six students are selected from all over India. After a process of rigorous scrutiny, Rameez has been selected for the prestigious Fulbright Fellowship. Rameez is an educator, community worker and a columnist from Baramulla. His journey in the Education department started in 2010 as a teacher and ever since he has been serving the education department. He has been spending a lot of time with children to educate them. Rameez has been getting congratulatory messages from everyone for this achievement. Rameez is the only person from Kashmir to be selected for this fellowship. It is a matter of pride for him and the whole UT, he says. Rameez wants his success story to become an inspiration for every small town teacher involved wholeheartedly in teaching children and the struggles involved; and how an ordinary teacher can become extraordinary through skills and determination.
