Srinagar , October 22,2025 – In a vibrant display of sportsmanship and community engagement , the Jammu and Kashmir Police organised Badminton and Volleyball tournaments in the districts of Kulgam and Kupwara. The initiative aimed to promote youth participation in sports ,encourage healthy lifestyles and strengthen the bond between police and the local communities.
The events witnessed enthusiastic participation from local players and sports enthusiasts. Matches were held under the banner of Civic Action Programme , a continuing effort by Jammu and Kashmir Police to channel the energy of the youth into positive activities and foster peace and unity through sports.
Senior police officers appreciated the players for their spirited performances and reaffirmed the forces commitment to organising such events that nature sports talent and promote social harmony across the region. Winners and runner- up were felicitated with trophies and certificates
