Promoting National Integration Through Youth Exchange
Yuva Sangam is a flagship youth exchange programme under the Ministry of Education’s Department of Higher Education. It aims to strengthen emotional bonds and promote mutual understanding among young citizens through structured visits to paired states and Union Territories.
The programme follows five thematic pillars: Paryatan (tourism), Parampara (traditions and culture), Pragati (development and governance), Paraspar Sampark (people-to-people connect), and Prodyogiki (technology and innovation). These themes provide participants with opportunities to experience different aspects of life in the host region, including its heritage, educational institutions, innovation ecosystem and community life.
