Newly inaugurated Ayush centre at Ganderbal’s Fatehpora has a herbal garden

A Health and Wellness Centre was inaugurated at Fatehpora in Ganderbal by DDC Chairperson Ganderbal, Nuzhat Ishfaq. The Deputy Director Ayush Kashmir, Dr. Nuzhat Bashir and Assistant Director Ayush Kashmir, Dr. Sujad Hussain Shuja were also present on the occasion. The DDC Chairperson Ganderbal requested citizens to come to the centre which was well equipped with all kinds of medicines for treatment. The Ganderbal residents said how for small tests like sugar and blood tests they had to travel 2-3km to Ganderbal. Now the dispensary at Fathepora has been upgraded to function as a health and wellness centre. Under the Ayush Mission, this upgradation has happened, Ayush directors informed. The centre has been relocated and a herbal garden has been created and all the medical facilities are being provided for Ganderbal people. The people were appreciative of the Jammu & Kashmir Lieutenant Governor, Shri Manoj Sinha who they said looks after the health aspect more. Keeping everyone in mind, this is a good step by the government, said Ganderbal residents. The Directors explained how the tests, treatment and cost of medicines will be free under the Golden Card of Ayushman Bharat PM-JAY Sehat scheme.
