LG Manoj Sinha Inaugurates Atomic North’s Complex at Billawar | Boosting IT Employment in J&K The Lieutenant Governor of Jammu & Kashmir, Shri Manoj Sinha inaugurated Atomic North Private Ltd’s Complex at Durang Village of Billawar. The Atomic North’s Venture will put customer service at the heart of the company and reduce the physical distance in today’s globalised world. After Noida, Canada, England and America, in Billawar Kathua, J&K, it will be the fifth address of Atomic North Private Ltd, LG said. In the first phase, Atomic North will start BPO operation with 100 executives including more than 90% of local youth. In the next phase, the leading IT company will build a Data Centre, a Network Operation Centre, and a Security Operation Centre to provide employment to 1500 youth. The Lieutenant Governor assured every support from the administration for setting up new ventures of IT and IT-enabled services sector companies in the Union Territory. I am confident that IT companies, along with contributing to the economy, will develop an ecosystem here which will boost employment opportunities in different sectors, said the Lt Governor. There is a commitment and efforts are being made in the Jammu and Kashmir administration to strengthen the IT and IT enabled service sector. And I hope that in the coming days a better situation will be created in this direction, LG said.
