Srinagar, November 3,2025: Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir, Shri Manoj Sinha, congratulated the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) on the successful launch of GSAT-7R (CMS-03) — India’s heaviest and most advanced communication satellite.
In a message of appreciation, the Lt Governor said, “Congratulations to @isro on the successful launch of GSAT-7R (CMS-03), India’s heaviest communication satellite. This marks a major step in enhancing the nation’s communication and defence capabilities, reflecting ISRO’s dedication and pursuit of building a strategic and Aatmanirbhar Bharat.”
He commended the scientists, engineers, and the entire ISRO team for their relentless commitment, innovation, and excellence in advancing India’s space technology. The Lt Governor noted that the GSAT-7R will significantly bolster defence communications, secure data networks, and national preparedness, further strengthening India’s technological sovereignty.
ISRO’s consistent progress in the field of space exploration and satellite communication, he added, exemplifies the spirit of self-reliance, innovation, and national pride, aligning with the vision of Aatmanirbhar Bharat.
