LG launches the book ‘The Slum Queen’, autobiography of a 42-year-old woman

The Lieutenant Governor of Jammu & Kashmir recently unveiled a book ‘The Slum Queen’ by Rouble Nagi. He congratulated the young author who is also an artist and social activist. He remarked that 42 years is a young age to write an autobiography. He said life is not measured by the number of years lived but by the fullness of having lived to perfection. The 240+ pages assimilated in 11 chapters of the book ‘The Slum Queen’ portrays this truth in the journey of Rouble Nagi’s life. Whatever we do in life the surrounding environment plays a big role in it. He said the book encompasses the author’s transformative journey as an artist and social worker and her dedication for the betterment of the lives of the underprivileged in a beautiful manner.
