Kulgam Youth in Apple’s ‘Hall of Fame’ | Spots Vulnerabilities | Contributes to Web Server Security A Kulgam youth, Muneeb, in Jammu & Kashmir has reached the ‘Hall of Fame’ for Apple Inc web server security contributions. The company Apple invites world-wide hackers on their platform to report any vulnerability for which they get a reward and the person gets mentioned in the Apple ‘Hall of Fame’. The Kulgam youth identified potential security vulnerabilities in Apple. I started my research three months back. Its icloud data of 15,000 users was getting leaked and the Kulgam youth reported about it. The company validated the information. Then the youth sent a detailed report on how the users’ data was getting leaked. The data getting leaked included photos, personal videos, documents, pdf files, etc. This is how the Kulgam youth got a mention in the ‘Hall of Fame’. The Kulgam youth says he has has found a loophole in many organisations like Oracle, Intel and other private and public domains where he has discovered vulnerabilities.
