J&K’s higher education budget is more per student compared to other states: LG

The Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir, Shri Manoj Sinha congratulated the Jammu and Kashmir Cluster University on its foundation day. He said that any institute takes around six-seven years to reach a high position. Compared with any other state or UT in the country, our higher education budget is more per student. The LG emphasised on this point. He said that we need to dwell on whether we are making the best of our talents or thinking in this direction? All those who will graduate and go on into the professional world, will we be able to inculcate along with professional values, the values of humanity in them? By grooming our youth, can we make them the means of prosperity for our society and the country? He said that technology is an essential part of any university. Jammu has started the facility of 5G with 280 sites getting functional. In Srinagar, 250 sites are functional with a 5G facility. By December, the LG said that the whole of Jammu and Kashmir will be covered by a 5G facility.
