J&K Takes Center Stage at IITF 2023 | LG Sinha Highlights Economic Progress & Cultural Richness This year in the India International Trade Fair, Nov 14-27, 2023, Jammu & Kashmir has been included as the focus state among UTs, said the Lieutenant Governor, Shri Manoj Sinha. He congratulated all those artisans, entrepreneurs and the departments participating in the IITF. He welcomed the buyers too. It is a perfect opportunity to showcase the creative products of Jammu and Kashmir, a symbol of its emerging economic strength and rich tradition, LG said. I consider IITF as the most suitable and effective medium to make a place in the export market. This is a platform where one can understand different markets. Entrepreneurs, artisans can pursue distribution channel options for their handicrafts and other products, LG said. They can assess what competition there is in their product category. They can realise the option of joint venture and also get real feedback about their product through direct contact with customers. Today, Badalta Jammu Kashmir is not just a slogan, it is also a reflection of the aspirations of our sisters and the little artisans who are creating new designs with little means in our villages, LG said. This slogan also symbolises the new flight of Jammu and Kashmir and the revival of ancient culture. After August 2019, along with many notable achievements, the new vision has awakened in the society and business community of Jammu and Kashmir. To a great extent, success has been achieved in ending the environment of fear and terror in which the aspirations of the common man were held captive. Every citizen has the right to live as per his wish. The infrastructure has been prepared for ease of living and quality of urban life. And today I can say here that if anyone wants to see the best example of urban transformation then he should go to Srinagar or Jammu and see it, LG stated. Today, Jammu and Kashmir has better infrastructure than any other city in the country, said the Lt Governor Manoj Sinha.
