J&K | Students in Tral Laud National Education Policy 2020 for Fostering Joyful Learning

J&K | Students in Tral Laud National Education Policy 2020 for Fostering Joyful Learning I want to share my thoughts and views about National Education Policy 2020, said a Govt Secondary school student in Tral, Jammu & Kashmir. As a student I have never ever seen such a policy as NEP. It is really unique and a great education policy. Earlier, the focus of our education institutes comprising schools, colleges and universities was on rote memory. With the start of NEP, we observe that as students we have become more free in our minds. We are not depressed. In our present society our younger generation is caught in depression. Education plays a big role in creating depression. If students are not able to cope they get stressed and it often leads to depression. The whole process of preparing for exams and not participating in extra curricular programmes or sports used to create mental blocks. Students participating in programmes and sports activities were more balanced and exhibited more skill. NEP does not focus on rote memory. NEP has reduced our curricular burden. Now we children come to school joyfully and reap the benefits of inclusive education. Through NEP, whatever goals we students have, we can fulfill them further. The teachers also observe about us students and where our potential lies. They encourage students to achieve their dreams through NEP, girl students in Tral said.
