Empowering Street Vendors | PM Svanidhi Scheme Reshapes Lives in Jammu & Kashmir

Empowering Street Vendors | PM Svanidhi Scheme Reshapes Lives in Jammu & Kashmir Till date we have never thought about those friends who live their life as vendors. They sell goods sitting on the footpath. We are connecting these friends to the banking system through the PM Svanidhi Scheme, said the Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modi. It is a good scheme and the vendors are getting Rs 10, 000 in the first instalment, Rs 20,000 in the second instalment and Rs 50,000 in the third instalment. The common youth instead of sitting unemployed at homes should come out and avail these schemes, said a man in Tral, Jammu & Kashmir. A clothes vendor in Tral said that to buy stuff he did not have money. Then through the PM Svanidhi scheme he was able to set up shop. The Tral street vendors thanked the Municipal Government for the scheme. They can get small amount capital loan. We want to appreciate the Central Government. They should show more confidence in us. The scheme should reach every village and door-to-door. The locals in Tral said there should be awareness campaign and counselling so that people are aware.
