Diwali Illuminates Sharda Peeth Temple in Teetwal | A Historic Moment for Save Sharda Committee Sharda Peeth Temple was inaugurated in Teetwal on March 22, 2023 in a live streaming by Home Minister Amit Shah. We got a chance to celebrate Diwali here for the first time after 75 years, said Ravinder Pandita, champion of Save Sharda campaign. We also did Navratri puja here after so many years. It is a very joyous moment for us, said Ravinder Pandita. I want to congratulate the citizens, the Army and the administration for cooperating and creating facilities here. Diwali, the festival of lights, we have to illuminate in Kashmir. Once again that candle has to be lit again of communal harmony, brotherhood and spirituality that existed long before, said Ravinder Pandita. Today, we are celebrating Diwali, what can be bigger than this. On the occasion of first Diwali, there is great happiness in Teetwal temple. We should remember our Guru Swami Nand Lal who used to run Sharda Peeth till 1948. Nothing can be bigger than this that it is Diwali and we are here at Sharda Peeth Temple on the occasion of Diwali, said Ravinder Pandita.
