In a proactive step to address the challenges posed by heavy snowfall in Jammu and Kashmir, Chief Minister Omar Abdullah recently chaired a review meeting via video conference to evaluate the preparedness and progress of snow clearance operations across the region. The meeting was aimed at ensuring the smooth functioning of essential services, infrastructure, and transportation networks, which are often severely disrupted during the winter months due to snowfall.
