Challenges of global change can be met through mutual love and brotherhood: LG at Dogra Sadar Sabha

India is the most unique country on earth where a mixed culture of different ideologies and religion gets a chance to accept and flourish, said the Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir, Shri Manoj Sinha speaking at the Dogra Sadar Sabha spreading the message of humanity. In the era of global change, it is not as if there is no challenge before our society. There are many challenges. There are problems too, but their solution lies in mutual love and brotherhood. And that is why we all talk about unity in diversity. It is true that in the nineties, some situations arose that resulted in the birth of isolationism and terrorism and such other nefarious activities. Every part of society, and the economic situation was harmed. The laws discriminating between humans were made and continued for a long time. On the other hand, terrorism and isolationism gave vent to narrow mindedness and this ecosystem was not only prepared but also an attempt was made to nurture it. As a result, the people of Kashmir experienced immense pain. The common citizens especially, the weak and vulnerable sections of society were the worst sufferers for a long time. Now I feel that the situation has changed. An effort has been made courtesy our Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi to establish an egalitarian society in Jammu and Kashmir. Such laws which are applicable in the whole country have now been implemented in Jammu and Kashmir also, LG said.
