Budgam, October 22,2025: The district administration Budgam organised a vibrant Voters Fair (Matdata Mela) at Behisht-e-Zehra Park under the systematic Voters education and electoral participation initiative, highlighting the theme – Inclusive, Ethical & Informed Voting
The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from students , first time voters, and members of the community. Various stalls and awareness activities were set up to educate people about the importance of ethical voting , electoral registration, and inclusive participation in the democratic process.
Election Commission of India (ECI) Observers appreciated the efforts of the district administration for its extensive voter awareness outreach, emphasising that such initiatives play a key role in empowering every eligible voter and strengthening democratic participation.
Officials reiterated their commitment to ensuring transparent elections enhanced voter turnout and equal participation across all sections of society in Budgam district.
