Kathua,April 20,2026-The Directorate of Tourism Jammu and Kashmir, in collaboration with the District Administration Kathua and Billawar-Duggan Development Authority, is set to host the vibrant Baisakhi Utsav 2026 today at the Kali Mata Temple Ground in Billawar. The event will commence at 4 PM and aims to celebrate the region’s rich cultural heritage while promoting tourism.
The festival will feature a wide range of cultural performances, including traditional folk music and dance, capturing the vibrant spirit of Baisakhi. Local artists and cultural groups are expected to take part, offering visitors an immersive experience of the region’s rich traditions and festive essence.
Officials stated that such events play a key role in boosting tourism in lesser-explored destinations like Billawar, known for its scenic beauty and religious significance. The आयोजन at Kali Mata Temple Ground is also expected to draw devotees and tourists from across Jammu and nearby areas.
