Ganderbal, June 2,2026- The District Administration Ganderbal has announced a Mega Padyatra under the ongoing #NashaMuktJK Abhiyan, aimed at raising awareness against drug abuse and promoting a drug-free society.
The event is scheduled to be held on June 05, 2026 at 7:00 AM at Qamaria Ground, Ganderbal.
The padyatra will be led by the Chief Guest, Hon’ble Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir, Manoj Sinha, who will participate in the awareness march along with officials, students, youth groups, and civil society members.
The initiative is part of the administration’s sustained efforts to curb the menace of drug abuse in the region and encourage community participation in building a healthier and drug-free society.
Authorities have urged maximum public participation, especially from youth, educational institutions, and social organizations, to make the campaign impactful and successful.
The Mega Padyatra is expected to witness large participation and will highlight the collective resolve towards achieving a #NashaMuktJammuAndKashmir.
