Keegam JKAS Lady Officer Leads Drug-Free Campaign, Uniting Parents, Teachers & Society 🚫💊 Binat-Ul-Showkat JKAS Officer from Keegam, Pulwama said, the 100-day Nasha Mukt campaign in Jammu & Kashmir has been started by the Lieutenant Governor of Jammu & Kashmir, Shri Manoj Sinha on April 11, 2026. Nasha Mukt Abhiyaan in J&K is not just a campaign, it is a collective responsibility. Its a collective responsibility of society, parents and teachers at large, said JKAS Officer who is also the District Ambassador of the Nasha Mukt Jammu & Kashmir Abhiyaan. We want people to participate in this, we want to support the government, we want people to participate enthusiastically in this 100-day campaign, voiced Sunaina Gulzar, Kabaddi player from Pulwama. People should come forward to help. Drug abuse is destroying our families. It is destroying our young generation. And I am seeing that it is destroying our future as well, said Binat-Ul-Showkat JKAS Officer. Drug addiction has become very common in Jammu and Kashmir. Our lives are being ruined because of this. Be it young or old, they are playing with their lives and their futures, said Sunaina Gulzar, Kabaddi player. Parents and teachers are important stakeholders in this campaign and they play a vital role in order to eradicate or eliminate this drug menace from society, said the JKAS officer. We want people to participate in this We tell in the program what harm we suffer from addiction. What happens to us due to addiction and what effect does it have on our children? These are affecting our lives and the difficulties those children are facing because of this addiction, Sunaina Gulzar Kabaddi player added. Teachers have to check whether children are attending school and be vigilant about students often remaining absentees. Has the student failed in his academics? Is his behavior changing? Is he showing more aggression? They have to falg all these concerns. Parents have to take full care whether the child goes to school on time? Is he doing anything wrong by taking the money? Parents have an important role in this because a child leaves home in the morning and returns home in the evening, so parents have a very crucial role in this. I appeal to the young generation to be lika a leader not like a follower. You have to make your life, you are young so you have to make your life and not get spoiled by these drugs, advised JKAS officer Binat-Ul-Showkat in Pulwama, J&K.
