What ₹2 Cr Did in This J&K Village

What ₹2 Cr Did in This J&K Village Jammu & Kashmir development, Pulwama news, NITI Aayog visit, aspirational blocks India, Sampoorna Abhiyan, rural development J&K — A remote block is seeing real change on the ground.

Officials from NITI Aayog praised improvements in healthcare, education, and infrastructure despite tough terrain. A ₹2 crore boost has accelerated development, benefiting local communities.

Residents say on-ground visits by officials are helping fast-track long-pending projects.

In Jammu & Kashmir there are 10 aspirational blocks in which one block has shown commendable performance, said Ms Archita CPO Niti Aayog. The manner in which the BDO officer and staff have built and maintained facilities is commendable. We congratulate everyone for this. We are very happy that officers have cooperated and facilitated us in this visit. Despite the tough terrain and the large tribal population, the footfall at hospitals, education centres and Anganwadis here is very encouraging. We are seeing the vision of this ‘Sampoorna Abhiyan’ being achieved on the ground.

A Pulwama resident said, we are thankful to the Niti Aayog team because of which our CSC building got a funding of Rs 2 crore and our PSC work started. This is a nice initiative as officers when they come on ground zero then the area gets a development push. Many people placed their genuine demands before the Niti Aayog officers. There are tribal areas here and whatever development happens will help these people and prove beneficial to them.
