Jammu, March 21,2026- Manoj Sinha on Saturday emphasised that the ‘Agriculture First’ policy will play a crucial role in building a Developed India and achieving the vision of an Aatma-Nirbhar Jammu & Kashmir.
Speaking at the inaugural ceremony of a three-day Agriculture Summit and Kisan Mela organized by SKUAST Jammu, the Lieutenant Governor highlighted the transformative potential of technology-driven farming practices. He stressed that the integration of artificial intelligence and advanced agricultural techniques is essential for enhancing productivity and ensuring sustainable growth in the sector.
Underscoring the importance of innovation, Sinha said that agriculture and technology must go hand in hand to meet future challenges and strengthen the rural economy. He noted that AI-powered solutions can significantly improve efficiency, crop management, and decision-making for farmers.
The Lieutenant Governor also lauded the dedication of scientists, researchers, and farmers for their relentless efforts in advancing the agricultural sector. He reiterated that agriculture remains central to national development, food security, and human welfare.
