Srinagar, March 14,2026- Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Saturday released the book “Mehsoos – Stories of Social Transformation”, a compilation of inspiring grassroots stories that showcase social transformation through the dedicated efforts of volunteers associated with Sewa Bharti Jammu and Kashmir and the Ekal Vidyalaya Foundation of India.
Speaking on the occasion, the Lieutenant Governor said the book highlights inspiring stories of selfless service and transformative social initiatives carried out by volunteers working at the grassroots level across Jammu and Kashmir. He emphasized that such efforts play a crucial role in strengthening communities and uplifting the lives of people in remote and underserved areas.
LG Manoj Sinha said that “Mehsoos – Stories of Social Transformation” captures the spirit of dedication and commitment shown by volunteers who have worked tirelessly to bring positive change in society. He noted that the book reflects the sacrifices made by workers of Sewa Bharti and the dedication of Ekal Vidyalaya volunteers in promoting education, social welfare, and community development.
The Lieutenant Governor expressed hope that the inspiring accounts documented in the book would motivate people across the country to contribute towards nation-building and community service. He said the stories of transformation should reach beyond Jammu and Kashmir to inspire volunteers across India.
