Srinagar, October 5,2025:Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha today emphasised the importance of creating a conducive environment in schools to nurture future scholars, scientists, and innovators. He said that education must go beyond rote learning and focus on developing creativity, critical thinking, and innovation among students.
“Schools should become hubs of knowledge and innovation where curiosity is encouraged and talent is nurtured,” LG Manoj Sinha stated. He highlighted that the administration is committed to providing quality education, upgrading infrastructure, and promoting STEM learning to prepare students for global challenges.
The Lieutenant Governor reiterated that the government is working to transform Jammu and Kashmir’s education system through modern teaching methods, digital classrooms, and skill-based learning under the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020.
He urged teachers and parents to inspire children to think independently, innovate fearlessly, and contribute meaningfully to society. “We must ensure that our schools provide every child with an environment that brings out their best and turns them into future leaders of science, technology, and innovation,” LG Manoj Sinha said.
