Katra, 30 September 2025: The sacred shrine of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi witnessed an overwhelming footfall of more than 1.5 lakh devotees during the ongoing Navratri celebrations. On the auspicious occasion of Mahashtami, thousands of pilgrims offered prayers at the holy cave amid vibrant decorations, devotional bhajans, and spiritual fervour.
The Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board made elaborate arrangements to ensure a smooth and safe pilgrimage. Adequate facilities such as medical aid, sanitation, crowd management, and round-the-clock assistance were provided for the convenience of devotees.
Pilgrims expressed joy at being part of the Navratri celebrations, calling it a spiritually uplifting experience. The festival period at the shrine continues to draw devotees from across the country, reaffirming Shri Mata Vaishno Devi’s place as one of the most revered pilgrimage destinations in India.
