SAMBA, NOVEMBER 03: Principal Secretary School Education, Alok Kumar, concluded his two day visit, under ‘Back to Village’ program, to panchayat Bagla Jakh amidst series of meeting with all stakeholders to discuss progress on schemes relating to localized Sustainable Development Goals here today.
Deputy Commissioner Samba, Anuradha Gupta, Senior Superintendent of Police Abhishek Mahajan, ADDC Rajinder Singh, Sarpanch Bagla Jakh, Ramesh Kumar besides other officers, locals, prominent citizens, youths and others were present.
On the last day of the visit under, Principal Secretary as visiting officer of panchayat sensitized village residents on myschemes portal, which is a national platform that aims to offer one stop search and discovery of government schemes. Information on E-kitab kosh for empowerment of youths was also disseminated during the programme.
Alok Kumar also held series of meetings with all stakeholders including panchayat members, mahila and bal sabha members, seniors citizens, specially abled persons, youth clubs and other and addressed their demands and issues through inter departmental coordination.
Principal Secretary during his stay in the panchayat ensured that all the line department frontline workers saturate the deliverables under Jan Abhiyan including Golden Cards registrations, distribution of land passbooks, KCC saturation, water testing, functional patwar khana, self employment drive and other panchayat good governance indicators.
Later, Principal Secretary distributed sanction letters under Self employment drive, board games among senior citizens, sports kits among youths.
