Omar Abdullah Inaugurates Tulip Garden Festival 2025 | Tourists Flock to Asia’s Largest Tulip Garden. Jammu & Kashmir Chief Minister, Shri Omar Abdullah inugurated the opening of 2025 Tulip Garden Festival in Srinagar. With this opening of the Indira Gandhi Memorial Tulip Garden we hope to have a blooming tourist season throughout the year, officials said. Thousands of tourists came here on the first day. Cars were not allowed on the link road and tourists had to walk from the main road. People have come here with the belief that some good work must have happened here. We have come from West Bengal, eighteen of us in three cars. We have driven all the way just to see the Tulip Garden of Srinagar which is Asia’s largest Tulip garden, said a Bengali tourist in Srinagar. We are lucky that we got to see the first day of 2025 opening. We had heard about the famous Tulip garden, said another tourist. A female tourist said there were so many flowers and she would like to bring her whole family over here. It is my first experience in Kashmir and I am very happy and excited to see the rest of Kashmir. Everyone please visit Kashmir. It is literally a ‘jannat’ as you can see, said another tourist.
