The children in Jammu & Kashmir are happy that the Lieutenant Governor has launched a number of educational schemes through the School Education Department, J&K that will give a boost to the education system. The children in remote villages studying in schools with lack of infrastructure will get a boost and can benefit through these schemes.
On August 10, 2022 J&K Lieutenant Governor Shri Manoj Sinha inaugurated multiple key initiatives to strengthen the education sector and progress in developing an equitable and just society. He launched the e-foundation of two residential schools for Tribal students at district Rajouri and Shopian. Under Samagra Shiksha, he proceeded the e-inauguration of 119 Civil Works- Construction of school buildings and allied infrastructure- 84 school buildings, NIELIT courses, State mentoring project, Talash App, pre-primary classes and Atal Tinkering Labs as recommended by NEP 2020 which will strengthen our Early Childhood care and education and skilling of children and ecosystem.
The J&K government has carried out more than 20 lakh surveys to identify and put into mainstream out-of-school children. The School Education Department has shown major gains in enrolment and retention and bridging the gender gaps.
In our society, the importance we place to our education and fathers is not found anywhere else, said the LG.
The LG believes that technology is changing at a fast pace so education system should also make changes to be at par with the latest technology.
The children in J&K are eager to see the schemes launched by the LG implemented well in J&K so that many youths are benefitted.
