1 Km of Determination: Specially-Abled Children Redefine Strength in Srinagar A race for the Specially Abled children was organised in Srinagar, Jammu & Kashmir. The motive was to encourage such children and enable them to see their life from a new perspective. As a society we need to support them. Although nature has dispossessed them in this manner but there is some other talent hidden in them, said SSP Traffic Ajaz Ahmad in Sri, he said. They made an effort and their stamina is good. It was a one kilometre race and they finished in ten minutes. It was great, we wish there were more programmes like this. This is a very good initiative to encourage specially-abled people towards sports. It was raining yet they came to participate. They have good enthusiasm. Their enthusiasm needs encouragement. Other people should also come forward and help such children as much as possible, said SSP Traffic Ajaz Ahmad.
