Jammu, March 6,2026- The grand commencement and trophy unveiling ceremony of the YSS-JKSC Cricket Premier League Jammu will be held on Friday, March 6 at 5 PM at MA Stadium, Jammu. The event is set to mark the official launch of the much-anticipated cricket tournament aimed at promoting sports and youth engagement in the region.
Minister for Youth Services and Sports, Satish Sharma, will attend the ceremony as the Chief Guest and will formally unveil the tournament trophy in the presence of sports officials, players, and invited guests.
The YSS-JKSC Cricket Premier League is being organized to provide a competitive platform for budding cricketers while encouraging youth participation in sports activities. The tournament is expected to witness enthusiastic participation from several teams and emerging cricket talents from across Jammu.
Officials from the Youth Services and Sports Department and members of the Jammu and Kashmir Sports Council will also be present during the inaugural ceremony. The league aims to strengthen the sports ecosystem in the Union Territory by nurturing talent and promoting a healthy sporting culture among youth.
The MA Stadium in Jammu will host the ceremony, which is expected to draw sports enthusiasts, players, and cricket lovers to celebrate the start of the cricket league.
